hi sorry i know is not the place to request this but i need this feature there was many years.
i need an unblock request web site directly in the blocked site page.
when a user request an ublock site , astaro mail admin with with a formated mail , and the admin car accept unblock or decline unblock directly from the mail or using his portal user.

for exemple i have a smartphone , if i can receive unblock request directly on my smart with push mail and can directly unblock site with it that would be nice.


other thing i need is group manager for http filter.

the manager can only manage the rules that the administrator gives it.
for example I would like for the administrator interface of Astaro appoint a manager for a group and I can give him his rights in such web sites to add the group (ideal for a school teacher, I 't 5 schools this year manage astro example).
the principle is to delegate certain rights without giving them the ability to disable the filter, that way each teacher in each school will manage internet access in its class without the administrator does. is a significant time savings for the administrator who is not negligible. and it shall bring more Astaro has undoubtedly  

each user made unblock request can see his historic request on their portal user.

    Hi,

    unblock is there; you can define override rules per backend groups. They can then automatically deblock a webpage by themselves after giving a reason. No need for the Admin to manually do something.

    Granular ACL for WebAdmin is on the "to do list" as far as I know. So you can then limit down the access to specific parts of the configuration to specific user groups; though there are no details specified yet and it's not yet in the beta.

    not that I need an override, but the ability to create group manager to delegate certain administrative duties such as add internet sites banned without appeal administrator.
    I work in a town hall and I am also in school and I am not allow any of them can even unblock websites, I much prefer the idea of the manager (eg teacher in schools or head of department in town hall).
    opportunity to be notified by mail give a time of greater responsiveness.

    Hi Abilio,

    I understood your request quite right (I think) but it consisted of two parts:

    a) Users can ask for unblocking a website on the blocked page. This is implemented, but in a different way than you've asked for:

    by automatically unblocking the web site if the user asking for it (and giving a reason) is part of a group that you've preconfigured as being allowed to unblock pages by themselves.

    b) You want to have deputy administrators that are only able to configure certain options on the ASG but not everything (e.g. only block pages). As also said this feature is in the pipeline (it's called granular Access Control Lists (ACL) for WebAdmin), but not yet part of the beta. Just be patient, this feature might come during the beta.

    i hope have it for astaro V9 or V8.5 that would be nice.

    In addition to what christian said:

    The "Group Manager" feature as you call it (or "granular ACL" as christian calls it), is a feature that will be implemented in Version 8.000. We plan to release it during this beta, probably in May. So you don't need to wait until V9 for this.

    The idea of 'push notifications' via Email for an administrator is something we probably won't do. The problem with this approach is that it's far too easy to trick an admin by sending a fake "approve this link" email. Clicking on links in email is generally considered a bad idea. 

    This doesn't mean that we don't want to support mobile devices for the administration of an ASG. The opposite is true. We've already discussed this internally, and maybe there will be a version of the webadmin for mobile browsers, but we haven't decided yet.

    Me want to test this lcd especialy granular, and work to improve this feature, I have many other things to ask, but I have problem with English.
    if I can demand feature in French and if someone can translate I think it would be better.

    if possible wanted the user have his historic request unblock on his user portal.

    I would also like there is a possibility of a global blacklist and Global withelist in the definition, when the administrator are managing a lot of this functionality would be interesting in the sense that some sites could be used to the whole  groups.

    Another thing also is that when the site administrator adds a whitelist, it should be possible to bypass the restrictions of file extension, that's what my old filter system was doing.

    it is normal that when an administrator allows a site, the entire site is authorized and attachments and mime types.
     
    this function to operate Astaro I have problems with management groups.
