[7.900][BUG][CLOSED] "Remote Access / Advanced" filled with random Data from Config?!

After installing v7.900 and importing my old 7.5xx Config i noticed that every time i open the "Remote Access / Advanced" Menu, different "bits" of the Configuration are displayed in the "DNS", "WINS" and "Domain" Fields.

Changing and saving the Values does not clear the situation

EDIT: I used Chrome (4.1.249.1045)

let me guess: You use Safari or Opera, don't you ?

I always get this issue with Safari and Max OS X and reported it in a early version of the non public beta.

Maybe kbr can address a target release for fixing

Ah... the Browserquestion...
I totaly forgot to mention that i used Chrome...

A quick retest with Firefox does not show this Problem... So the "Client" Side of the WebAdmin does much more than i thought...

Hmm.. can't reproduce it here with my virtual W7 64bit with the same version of Chrome.

can you please post the output of
[FONT="Courier New"]cc get remote_access advanced[/FONT]

You need to be root on the console for this.

Hi kbr,

the Commandoutput is this...

remote_access->advanced = {
          "msdns1" => "192.168.201.1",
          "msdns2" => "",
          "mswins2" => "",
          "mswins1" => "",
          "msdomain" => "home.lan"
        }

That is consistent with the Info displayed in Firefox. Chrome on a 32Bit Windows XP also shows the correct Data. I also tested in on another Vista 64 Bit System without reproducing the "random Config Data" Problem.

I don´t have Access to the original 64Bit System until this evening, so i can´t say if it is a Glitch on that Chrome, or if it cured itself after a WebAdmin logoff/logon...

I changed the Values in WebAdmin before i switched to FireFox and the Changelog clearly shows that the Values weren´t wrong... they might be now... [:$] ("blank" instead of "0.0.0.0")

Hi kbr,

The Problem is gone now... The original System that had the "random Config Data" Effect with Chrome now works as expected...

I also changed the "blank" Values back to the original "0.0.0.0"
