[7.892][BUG][FIXED] Installation Wizard still running multiple times

Hi Guys,

I am really late to the v8 beta having just come in on 7.892 but liking it alot.

This isn't a critical issue and seems similar to some closed threads regarding problems with Safari in earlier versions but... 

1. Ran the installation wizard using IE8 on Windows 7 x64 during which I changed the LAN IP. After clicking Finish went to reconnect on new LAN IP

2. After logging in I was presented with the Installation Wizard again. Clicking cancel resulted in the Web Admin console showing up with all the settings I had entered during the first run through.

    that sounds really strange. When connecting to you 'new' LAN IP, have you been asked/warned that the certificate has changed? otherwise it might have been a caching issue.

    Thanks, that's a really useful report, very concise and containing all the info required to reproduce. [:)]
    You guessed right that changing the internal IP triggered the bug!

    The problem was that the WebAdmin first applied all the changes (including the IP address), then tried to inform the device that the Wizard was completed successfully and doesn't need to be offered again - but the device could not be reached any more, at this point, using the old IP.
    Now, recording the information that the Wizard is completed is done together with applying all the other information, no more in a separate, later step.

    Fixed in git master and ID-branch for the second public beta; unfortunately, the fix is too late to make the first public beta.

    Aaaw man I just did a whole screeshot recording thing to send you guys. Should of checked the status first [:)]

    By the way this happens in v7 as well, just had it happen while setting up an eval unit
