[7.890][BUG][OPEN] QOS not effective

Hi,
I have QOS enabled with 2 selector pools.
1 for VoIP and the other for smtp outgoing traffic.

The outgoing link speed is approx 800kb.
The smtp pool is 256kb max 320kb
The VoIP pool is 144kb max 256kb.

When I send a large e-mail file the outgoing side of the link is close to saturated, everything runs very slowly. Ping fails to get through, now that is a worry (could be a dns issue with the link speed update not a dns issue because the name was resolved). Tracert second hop over 800ms, normally about 15ms.

Just to make sure (because it's a very common misconfiguration): have you enabled qos for that interface too?

qos is enabled on the external interface.

Seems like we have a similar report from our QA team who test this in parallel. Can you please send me the output of iptables-save, once with QoS enabled and once with QoS disabled?

Hi kbr,
I have and had at the time QOS enabled on all interfaces, but I don't have the bandwidth pool setup except on the external interface.

I will attach the iptables shortly.

I actually have 2 internal interfaces both vlans
the general network for PCs runs at a combination of 1gb and 100mb
the voip network runs at 100mb into the vlan switch

The interface between the ASG and the VLAN switch runs at 1gb.
