[7.885][QUESTION][OPEN] 7.504 has new DHCP functions

Which "new DHCP feature"? I mean, i am not aware of anything new in DHCP, that hasn't been in the V8 branch first. So what are you aiming at?

people were talking about the new functionality in the 7.504 dhcp server, setting auto discovery functions which I can't find in v8b.

ah, now i know what you're talking about. 

Seems like the functionality is already in V8, but we haven't merged all the GUI parts yet. We keep track of such issues in our Mantis ID 12579, which is titled "Verify all issues fixed in 7.504 are fixed in V8". This is a container for several issues, and there are other IDs like this for 7.503, 7.502, etc.  all these ID's are targeted for Version 7.900 which will be our "public beta" release.

I updated by standby system to 7.503 yesterday and nearly killed the poor thing. It choked badly on the update. Next weekend I will put it back online to get the 7.504 update. It is nice to have a working system to plug in if something major goes wrong with the beta and not destroy the beta data.
