How do you witnessed that it was confd? What did you do that might have caused that load?
Can you be a little more precisely what you mean by 'frequently' and 'long time', is it once per hour over a day?
Did you have any problems during this time? Did something break? High CPU usage is just a sign of the ASG actually doing something, it's definitely not a sign of a bug.

i check with TOP (table of process)
and that time dash board also show how cpu usage
is there a way to log top output to some file or sar,vmstat or some other utils so we can diagnose that
