[7.865][QUESTION][ANSWERED] recommand hardware

Hello Friends !


Today i attempt to setup a asg 32 and 64 bit on Intel Desktop Board DG33FB - Overview mother board with intel Intel® Core™2 Duo Desktop Processor E8400 processor 

this board and cpu support Intel VT technology 
should i enable it 

another issuse was i was able to access internal lan but internal card link it was showing 
i try to add 3 NIC to setup a dmz but had to stop becase it was creating more problem 

with every reboot system was running --fsck 

with segate 160 gb hdd /2gb ram

    i don't understand. what exactly is the question here? what problems did you experience? which NIC (Vendor/type) were you using?

    we currently don't make any use of VT, but since it does not harm either you can leave it on.

    i had issuse with this mother board and this happen with astaro only while running system it showing so i restart the system and system give beep saying fan was off /not proper thermal 

    and after that it work for long time but i dont want to take a risk 

    i think i check with 32 and 64 bit system

    If you find out that your hardware is defective, that's your problem, sorry. no thread here.

    If you find an incompability with some hardware, then please report in a new thread (but i doubt there is any hw compatibility problem. if it boots and sees the nics, than it is compatible).

    my dear friend why 1st u think and ask to replace a hardware same with 3com card 

    i am using this machine from last 2 year and NEVER NEVER had and such kind of problem 

    i have 3 hdd on that machine i am using sles 10 *32 sles 10 sp2 *64 ubuntu 9.10 and windows server 2003 and 2008 ,winxp sp2,sp3
