when u was running diagnose/or the http was in debug mode that time my laptop was off 
so i dout u could get real picture of u want in the even we can test that i am in office now ,yesterday i was on leave

0228 this morning an e-mail advising http proxy had restarted.

I have been receiving http proxy notifications about twice a day since I installed 7.865.

log has the following

http proxy in standard mode, no tunnels involved.

u r using http/s in standard mode 
do u come across problem that without configuring web browser u r able to acess internet (when u use standard mode proxy u suppose to give asg ip and port in browser ?   please correct me if i am wrong )

interesting fault.

Current setup of my PC for this test. I restarted the PC after disabling the proxy.

W7 64 ultimate
Firefox 3.6 no proxy
I did have a PF rule I forgot about that allows internal any any, that has now been changed back to no ports below 1030 as a general rule. A PC could bypass the proxy, but with the rule back in place a connection cannot be established.

So the ASG proxy in standard mode does not pickup or intercept http/s traffic unless the PC has the proxy function enabled.

I was editing this post when I put changed the PF rule, the connection dropped, but by re-enabling the proxy in Firefox I was able to re-establish the connection back to the forum.

Tonight to further explore the http proxy I disabled proxy bypass for the secure tunnel I use to access my work. I disabled the packet filters for the http group and the gre tunnel. Everything connected correctly. In the past the connections failed for firefox, this time they worked fine. Firefox has been upgraded and CAs added. HTTPS scanning is still disabled.
I had to put all the PF rules in place when I implemented https scanning.

Waiting for th enext beta to see if that has a fix for the issue.

http proxy restarts are getting out of hand. Probably back to 5-6 a day especially during the peak period (my peak) of 3-4 users.

Also the refuses connection bug needs addressing.

I get about 2 seg faults a day.
