[7.851][BUG][OPEN] external interface picking up IP address from modem

Hi,
for the last couple of days I have noticed that my bridged ADSL2+ modem is broadcasting and the ASG is picking up the packets.

I would love to be able to access the modem via the external interface, but can't see how to get an additional address into a PPPoE interface.

Why is this happening?

Hmm, now that you say it:
We support additional addresses on PPPoE interface.
I believe we introduced it in 7.500.

But the address will be set on the ppp device, not the eth.

Hi Daniel,
I fixed up my eth? problem and restarted the ASG.

I was able to setup a complete additional address on eth0.
packet filter rule
NAT
Additional address.

No traffic went through to the ADSL modem that I can tell.
