[7.850][BUG][FIXED] QoS, can't enable new bandwidth pool

I added a traffic selector

Any->Websurfing-Any
TOS-Bits: Maximize throughput

Then i added a Bandwidth Pool with a guaranteed bandwidth.
So far no problems.

If i try to enable the pool a popup appears (see attachment) and the pool stays disabled.

Because of my other posts regarding some issues with Safari, i want to let you know that i used firefox.
  • Hello Agadoo:

I've tried to reproduce your issue, but haven't been succesful.

Can you please try it again (with same settings) and check the CONFD log for error message?

    Regards

  • Hello srrudolph,

it's still an issue, at least for my box.

I don't see how this log can help.

I'll send you a priv. message with login data, so you can check by yourself, if you want.
  • Hello Agadoo:

many thanks for the credentials. i've checked the bandwidth pool setup on your box and found the following error in the debug logfile of CONFD:

QOS_BW_CALC (QoS Bandwidth settings do not make sense

For some reason this lead to an '[Object object]'-error instead of a proper error message, that's a bug for sure.

The QOS_BW_CALC errror indicates that you've spend too much bandwidth. 10% of the total bandwidth are reserved, so I guess your setup tries to apply more than 90% of bandwidth (all pools).

    Regards
