I know Virtualbox is not supported, but asg 7.x was working fine with it (at least 7.50x), and for beta testing it's quite good for me [:)]
so I've set up a new VM into my virtualbox 3.0.12 (under linux) with SATA (AHCI) support, and when trying to install it says I've no Harddrive [[:(]]
when checking on the console and dmesg I've the attached screenshot.. and lspci gives:
00:0d.0 SATA controller: Intel Corporation 82801HBM/HEM (ICH8M/ICH8M-E) SATA AHCI Controller (rev 02)
I think ICH8 chipset is quite present nowadays so this needs support (even on virtualbox)...
so I will try installing with regular ide [[:(]]
