[7.500][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Windows Update error 0x80072EFF

Astaro 7.480 10630 IPS is blocking me from XP Windows update.
After about a minute of IE not responding it gives up with error 0x80072EFF and others too.
Once IPS is turned off on the Astaro, windows update goes back to normal behavior.

Currently set up attack pattern "Browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla) (2624 attacks)" from Drop to Alert with extra warnings.

Hope that helps anyone not wasting so much time like I did getting this to work.

Can anyone shed some light?

    Hi Bob, I think the rule caused this was sid "6504" "WEB-CLIENT Sophos Anti-Virus CAB file overflow attempt" as I was getting tons of it.

    However, I am trying to confirm this by re-enable the action "drop" but windows update still working ok at the moment. I guess I am going to leave it till tomorrow. :-)
