[7.500][DUPE][ANSWERED] . IPS = DoS.

Just upgraded a system to 7.500

We have one machine running a torrent on client PC.
IPS enabled in Astaro.

If IPS is on with default torrent detection, it's the equivalent of no net access. Unable to browse sites etc.

Turning off IPS makes it all work again.

There seems to be a bit of a delay between turning IPS on or off before things go good/bad again.

We had some Skype hits as well... The new IPS seems to hammer the system?

Hi a good thread for this is https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/98/t/68521. It is normal that some false positives can exist if all ips rules are used.

Well, that was 7.49 not 7.5 so I thought start a new thread.

The system should work without having to tweak IPS rules just to get working internet IMHO. Won't be good for newbies.
