warper, I have a test unit that went through the entire Up2Date sequence in the beta and which responds both on the Internal and External interfaces. Our production box was Up2Dated directly from 7.405 to 7.500, and likewise shows no such hesitation.

Okay so we are all talking about the same thing. I upgraded from 7.405 which on 7.405 I could use fir instance https://domain.name:4444 to access the astaro which actually pointed to the external interface while the browser was setup using the proxy.
Upgrade to 7.490 and since to 7.5 soft release. On both of these it will no longer work to hit the https://domain.name:4444 and have to use the internal https://10.x.x.x:4444 to access when using the proxy on the browser.
If I disable proxy settings in the browser I am able to hit the domain.name for admin interface.
