[4.790][FEATURE][ANSWERED] Bandwidth monitor popup issues

There seems to be an issue with how the bandwidth monitor is popping up in different browsers. In IE8, Firefox 3.5, & Chrome 2 it is always blocked by the browsers' popup blockers and you have to explicitly allow the site to open popup windows.

In all browsers I'm not running any extra popup blocking tools or software - they are all the default behavior.

Is there possibly a better way to display these popups that plays better with the browsers' default behaviors?

    It's most obnoxious using Chrome, which doesn't yet have a way to allow popups from certain sites. In IE and FF it's easy enough to do this in. More than anything I would consider it a bug in my own software if I couldn't open popups without triggering blockers. And hopefully it should be an easy enough fix to make the software that much better.
