Yesterday morning, working with my laptop from home, I was logged into 7.490 on my test ASG220 via the External interface. I had changed the idle-time logout to a full day because of another thread.
When I left for the office, while still logged in to 7.490 on my test unit, I put the laptop into "sleep" mode and slid it into my backpack.
Earlier this morning, I opened the laptop at home. As expected, the connection with 7.404 had been interrupted because the idle timeout was set at 9600 seconds. I was surprised to find that the connection to 7.490 had survived a 20-hour sleep, so I navigated to several different pages to confirm that I indeed was still logged in.
When I went to the licensing page, I confirmed that my demo license had expired as I had been warned by multiple alerts. As soon as I uploaded and applied a new license, I was logged out.
