this is a good question. I assume that there is no official Novell Client for MacOSX that log's your mac into eDir. Therefore the standard eDir-SSO does not work.
We have added SSO for AD in this release, but this needs the mozilla firefox browser on the MAC, as safari does not support proxy SSO authentication via NTLM/NTLMv2/Kerberos.
