[7.490][QUESTION][OPEN] DNS log entries

I have a lot of unexpected RCODE and lame server resolving entries in my DNS logs. I was just wondering what exactly is unexpected RCODE.
I believe the lame entry is generated when an authoritative server replies that it is not authoritative but some explanation would be great.

Also can these logs be suppressed if they are not affecting the DNS but are just information messages? By the way 4.2.2.1 and 64.81.127.2 are my forwarders.

Hi Billybob,
did these occur straight after you ASG was restarted. I don't have ready access to mine at the moment to have a look at the logs, but from memory they are the messages I see after restart before the external interface is up. I also suspect these and a couple of other error messages only appear on multi cpu systems because some processes start faster than others. My opinion anyway.
