[7.490][BUG][CONFIRMED] Manual up2date stalling

Thanks bob, I do have 1GB ram, also as you can see, its on my astaro but not available via webadmin. I can force the install but I was just pointing to the bug.
Tried again and still no go. The up2date image is on astaro though as I can see it under /var/up2date/sys directory.

Edit: I am going to reboot and try again and maybe caress my old PC in the process. Maybe it needs a little love[;)]

Rebooting didn't fix anything. Even tried with windows 7 RTM. Both bastian and wingman have plenty of ram on their systems. This is not a huge up2date package so 1GB ram should be sufficient to update. 7.480 beta was slightly bigger than this and I didn't have any problems. I am going to force the update via command line for now.[:S]
EDIT: I thought most of the low end astaro hardware appliances only have 1GB ram. Its no big deal to update my machine since I have used it heavily for years but afterall we shouldn't be buying new hardware to run just a firewall for home use. Plus didn't the hardware requirements just go up in the previous version? Now we have to go up to 2GB?

The update worked fine by forcing it. In my case, I didn't have to download the whole up2date package manually to my astaro machine. Webadmin was importing it fine, it was just not visible afterwards for installation, so running

auisys.plx --showdesc

brought it into webadmin (thanks Bob). I did a scheduled update and watched it via webadmin. Auto popup window would be nice to see the progress but manually viewing is not that bad. So far so good.

This is definitely a memory issue. My usual memory usage is around 50% with hardly any swapping. Installing the up2date manually pushes those numbers way high. Something needs a little tweaking.
