[7.480][QUESTION][ANSWERED] ASG not ussable as ntp time source

Hi community,

i am not able to use the asg as a time source anymore.
i upgraded from v7.405 to v7.480 via up2date (ftp://ftp.astaro.de/pub/Astaro_Security_Gateway/v7/beta/u2d-sys-7.405-480.tgz.gpg).

i cant update the time automatically or via  
net time /setsntp:192.168.100.1,0x1 

net time /set 


C:\>net time /querysntp

Dieser aktuelle SNTP-Wert ist: 192.168.100.1,0x1



Der Befehl wurde erfolgreich ausgeführt.





C:\>net time /set

Es konnte kein Zeitserver gefunden werden.


i configured the internal network as allowed ntp-clients and this config worked in v7.405.

    Please note there was a missing character in setsntp: 
    net time /setsntp:192.168.100.1,0x1 

    net time /set 

    I ran these commands against 7.404 and received the same result as you did on 7.480.

    Like Ian, my internal business network uses the Astaro for NTP.  No problems, mate!

    i didnt copy and paste the first code, so it is an error here in the forum. on the command line it was correct.

    what i want to say is, since the update to v7.480 i cant use the asg as time source.

    i have 1 pc(winxpp),2 laptops. this is my home network, where i use the beta. [;)]
    both laptops use externel sources, because they traveling around and there i cant use my asg.

    only the pc should sync the time with the asg and he didnt, i got a difference of several minutes between the asg and the pc.
    if i do the sync manually over the command line i got the error above and the time will not be synced.

    for succsessful sync, the timedifference cant be bigger then 5min.
    You can adjust this in registry on xppc unter w32time service
