I don't know why astaro won't run their own whois server. What is so difficult about this. This has been reported many times previously with other addresses. Why would a world class Enterprise firewall point to 3rd party whois servers is beyond me[:@]

By the way, you can change the query to dnsstuff like

dnsstuff.com/tools/whois/?tool_id=66&token=&toolhandler_redirect=0&ip=4.2.2.1

instead of 

dnsstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=4.2.2.1
