[7.470][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Quarantined emails?

Hi All

I've just rebooted my ASG (7.470) and all the quarantined emails were released and reach my outlook (about 100 emails).Is that normal?. All the emails that arrive to my clients are as per attached

unfortunately it does, I have attached the relevant pic as well as log from the smpt/pop3 logs

Do you require any other logs ?

Will restart my ASG now and see what will happen [;)]

Update: I don't seem to have the same problem - although there were new prefetcher exceptions at the reboot - I'll update the other thread.

Bastian I think it's the same issue. I first noticed it using version 7.470

Hi wingman,

does this occur on every reboot or only occasionally? As noted above a reboot five minutes ago didn't cause any mails to be released.

I've just checked the box "Delete quarantined mails from server" which was not ticked before. I rebooted my device twice and notice the same issue. I then ticked the box and delete all quarantine email. I then restart it and no spam was released (no quarantine email existed)

Do you have the "Delete quarantined mails from server" box ticked? Do you have any quarantined email to be released when rebooting?

No, this function is not active here - so I can directly check quarantined POP3 mails at my providers webmail site.

Do you have any quarantined email to be released when rebooting?

Yes there are some mails in the quarantine - I received a spam report only a few hours ago.
