I did the command-line download last night with my ASG220R1 (only 512MB of RAM), and it worked perfectly. In the past, when there was an Up2Date larger than 100MB, I had to wait for the 220 to do the automatic download.
My post above takes everyone's suggestions into account, but, as Barry pointed out, you may need to go into WebAdmin and create a PF rule.
