[7.470][BUG][FIXED] Parent Proxy can be enable/saved blank

I just checked in a patch fixing this, using the fancy new error reporting framework (so when you go to Definitions->Networks at some later time and delete the host object used as a parent proxy, you will be asked for confirmation whether you really want to disable the parent proxy).

Unfortunately, we are now in code freeze for the first release candidate (7.490).  In the release candidates, only show-stopper bugs will be fixed.  It would be a bad idea to risk introducing major new problems by fixing minor old ones.

Thus, the patch will be tested for and released with one of the upcoming regular 7.50x bug fix releases.
