[7.470][BUG][NOTABUG] HTTP Proxy seems unstable

Hi All

There are couple of issues with HTTP Proxy which make me think it's not really stable.

1)Today I got an blocked connection while trying to connect to astaro.org (i think during that time ,astaro.org was dows.pic attached). I got the message saying to route to astaro.org but my http log said:

2) There is a thread here where I am unable to access via netbios a shared space and that's because it detects port 80 on the connection and it's blocked by the Proxy

Could someone have a look please?

Hi Wingman,
the site was down, initially just off then missing from the network altogether.
The astaro.com site was also down, but the ftp site worked. I found the same or similar messages.

The http proxy does seem to have some issues. I spent the day convincing it to work. I still can't download the v7.470 ISO successfully. This morning 8 failures. After a warm reboot of the ASG, a long talk with the ISP tech support team, cold start the adsl modem, things have sort of settled down.

I am still struggling to fix the shard resourced issues.It seems to be either IPS/http proxy related problem.

True I've noticed that on the latest update/pattern

IPS seems more stable. However, can you still access your resources via netbios?

Hi Wingman,
those shared resource, yes I can when MS stops stuffing everything up with updates.
I had shares setup on my wife's PC so I could transfer photos, the latest MS update removed all the shares.
I am not sure whether they are going through the ASG or the VLAN switch.

My Vista 64 box has trouble finding things until one of the XP boxes is turned on, then I can see all the shared devices.

Ian I've managed to solve my problem by removing the media box from the IPS. The scenario was having both Zone 1 and DMZ under the IPS protection. By removing DMZ I can successfully connect using netbios
