Make sure you are hitting the browse button and selecting a license file before hitting the upload button.
Also, there may be a timezone problem with licenses... try again in 12 hours or so.
I've complained about this before, and it seems to have bitten me again yesterday setting up a new 7.402 fw for a friend; he generated a home license on Tuesday, I installed it, and then when we booted it up at his house on Wednesday night, it said the license was expired. After I re-installed the license it worked again.

The home-use license is a software license and won't work with the appliance version of the Astaro. I get around that for my test box because we're a Preferred Partner; I can generate a 30-day demo license for the ASG 220 when I use it for demos or for testing.
If you have a regular license for your 110, you can use it with the beta.
Have you asked your reseller for a demo license so you can experiment? I'm usually pretty motivated to get my customers to try additional Astaro subscriptions!
OK question is answered. To use the home license it's only working with the Astaro Security Gateway Sotware ISO.
To get a trial license please ask your reseller. If you install the astaro from scratch there is a 30 day license installed with the complete functionality
