[7.460][BUG][CONFIRMED] Backend groups on AD groups faulty

This is an old, well-known bug, and it's time to fix it.

In the Astaro backend group definition, if you choose to limit membership to those in specifc AD groups, the Astaro pulls the entire definition instead of just the content of the CN= field.  The admin must remember to edit this and delete all characters except the needed AD group name.

    yes I agree. I should be consistent to use the same syntax for prefetch settings and the group settings. Or it should be possible that the webadmin convert the syntax if you drag / drop the group from the ad browser. I forwarded it to our development team

    This has been fixed in version 7-260.

    It is now possible to use the complete DN notation (as comes from the directory browser), or
    to give just the groupname (i.e. just the 'cn'-attribute, as may be entered by hand).

    I cannot reproduce the reported error in the current Beta release (7.470).

    Please confirm that the bug does still exist.
    Please add the values you entered into the group definition, as well as the relevant part of the users ldif.
