[7.460][BUG][NOTABUG] Downloading iso files

could you please provide further info so that we can try and replicate the issue

which browser are you using?
which iso file are u trying to download?

I have 7.460 and I can download iso files with no issues at all

This happens whether I use ftp or http to get an iso file. I have tried using ftp://ftp.astaro.com. This worked on 7.401 fine because I finally got time to go to 7.460 and downloaed it yesterday to install it. I originally found the issue with 7.460 trying to get an iso file from http://download.novell.com and it failed as well. Or rather it just opens a screen and says it is connecting. I am using firefox 3.0.11 on Mac OSX. I now tested it on windows and it works fine there. I would blame the browser except it worked ok to dl the iso to install.
I am still trying to investigate. Maybe it is something else.
I will keep looking at it.

Yesterday I downloaded a 3Ware codeset iso image(http://3ware.com/download/Escalade9690SA-Series/9.5.2/9.5.2-Codeset-Complete.iso) using Opera without the problems you described (I just needed two attempts as the download was interrupted by the other http proxy bug...)

I have tested downloading ISO files using Firefox in Windows XP and Linux via FTP without issue (in both cases ISO files from astaro, to try to replicate). Have you tried using Safari at all ? This should allow you to determine if it was the browser or not.
