So, ee-tra, do you mean to imply that the SMTP log is not constructed from the log files? That it actually is built at the time mail passes through the Astaro?

The Mail Log shown in the User Portal is based on information stored in the database (in the 'l' table).
Database entries are created when the mails are transfered.
It's not possible to see the respective mails in the log before the time the email address was added.
