I was running ASG 7.450. System did not automatically download ver. 7.460 up2date. No big deal. Manually downloaded up2date onto my computer, and then tried to do a Manual Up2Date package upload via the Advanced page of the Up2date applet.
Using Mozilla Firefox v3.0.11, the applet would load up to 99% and then quit. The timeout popup would offer an Abort or an additional 30 seconds. I gave it a total of 2 more minutes, with no effect. I closed WebAdmin in Mozilla, and I then opened WebAdmin with Internet Explorer v8.0.6001. I repeated the upload process, with no apparent success. The progress bar never showed any signs of upload activity. It timed out as well. I hit Abort, but every 30 seconds the timeout popup would reappear. Each time I would hit abort. The upload applet would not close. I clicked on the Dashboard menu bar, and after about 5 minutes it appeared, and indicated that the Up2Date was ready to install. I installed it without any problems.
Any ideas as to what caused the upload activity not to show?
