[7.460][BUG][FIXED] Should the "Re-generate WebAdmin certificate" show a confirmation?

Hello:
When I run the Re-generate WebAdmin certificate from Management/WebAdmin/HTTPS Certificate Settings, it does not indicate that the operation is complete. Just about everything else confirms with a green text message . I have made changes to the Organization field and attempted to update the certificate. The certificate was not updated. Am I doing something out of order?

You're having the experience that you should. I've complained in the past that the documentation and interaction on this page/tab are confusing.

Bob, please tell me if I'm wrong, but as soon as the new certificate exists, the connection (created with the "old" certificate) gets dropped. Since I'm not a developer I just assume that we have only few possibilities to give a confirmation text here.

In post #10, I linked to a comment by Tom Kistner who said that when the hostname has not been changed, the WebAdmin cert is "quietly" not regenerated. There's nothing malfunctioning, there's just inadequate documentation and feedback.

It's one of those phenomena that makes admins uncomfortable about their jobs and Astaro Partners frustrated, so if it's not a bug, it's at least a "stain" that should be cleaned as a sign of our professionalism.
