[7.450][BUG][NOTABUG] Persisting Bug: Webadmin takes 100%cpu

My appologies, I think this has been mentioned before but I couldn't find the thread. I think someone mentioned that the initial setup screen was too slow or something to that effect. Well that has not been resolved. Actually webadmin is not slow, it takes 100%cpu cycles after every 4-5 character input and seems like webadmin is hanging. Ofcourse internet explorer is the process using 100%cpu if you look at task manager.
I am testing this on IE8.0.6001 vista sp2.

    I dont have any fancy addons just the junk it comes with. Did removing google toolbar fix your issue with webadmin? I have 1.5Gb ram. Not bad for just surfing even with vista.


    Sir.can u try to minimize ips rules ,which systems u r not using u can remove it and just check becase i had smiler problem but i use win xp ,vista ,and linux that why i dont want to take risk if u r not using linux /database u can remove rules for that ,it might help u 
    (update --can u please try this with firefox)

    I think Google toolbar was the only browser add-in I had active.  I didn't remove it; I just went to 'Internet Options' 'Advanced' and unclicked 'Enable third-party browser extensions'.

    @BOB, Thanks, I will try disabling some add ons and post back. Knowing windows maybe my flash player is affecting my browsing or something[:P]

    @utm_kid: This is the initial setup screen when you first install the ISO. Before you import any backups and basically are just agreeing to terms and conditions. So no IPS yet.
    Actually I had very good luck running chrome when using astaro. The scripting engine is super fast but that is not the point, most of us are given windows with internet explorer and have to live with it[;)]

    I finally got my firewall to stabalize a little bit. I will test it next time I do a reinstall.
    By the way thanks for the tip for checking running services on the console.
