I was surprised just now to have restored a 7.402 backup onto 7.460 and to find that the language remained English even though the language-choice on the backup was German. Also, I would have expected to need to reload the new license again since the one on the backup is expired.
I suspect that the license wasn't replaced because of some anomaly caused by not rebooting after the first restore. I have just re-imaged and, indeed, the restore from my original 7.402 backup did restore the license and the language choice when used with a "clean" install.
