[7.460][BUG][CONFIRMED] Can create users with <> but can't log !

Seems we can create users like  but first in the list it no longer appear (probably because the <> are not converted and used as HTML tag...

and second I'm not able to log with that  username !

So basically you must forbid to add this type of names, and mostly authorized usernames with alphanumerical and some other chars (like .)

    I can confirm that in Users -> Users the user is diplayed, but the users _name_ is not.

    The correct username is diplayed in the bar on the left side, if you try to add the user to some 'allowed users' fields.
    (e.g. Management -> WebAdmin Settings -> Access Control, click on the folder icon at the "allowed administrators" box. The username appears in the panel on the left, and also in the "allowed administrators" box, if you drag him there)

    I tried authenticating with a user  for webadmin, which worked.

    BuBu: can you please tell us which service you try to authenticate for, when it fails.

    Sorry, I did severall tests on that  things on several test boxes... and I think on one of them I forgot to make the user being able to log... I just tested again and effectively the user  can log on webadmin if authorized, acces portal if authorized and log on SSL/VPN if authorized... so for that part this is fine...

    But at least there is still low priority cosmetic issues... like in the list of users the  username does not appear, also at top just near the ip, the username does not appear, ... so you just need to use the encode stuff to render any user name into  the webadmin..
