[7.460][BUG][NOTABUG] Strange behaviour while setting up2date manually and click

Hi

If I set up2date to be done manually then go and click on "Check for Up2Date packages now" It does not always reply, and after 2 or 3 click on it I've:


Backend connection failed, please click Shift-Reload to try again.

If this is expected to be slow you may have to say that something is already in progress... before having the error message...

At my site after one click a message appears that says:

"The system now downloads available firmware updates. Due to the size of the packages, this can take a while. You can refresh this page periodically to check when the process has completed."

Does this appear at your site, too?

ok just reproduced this...

clicked on the button about 3 times it replies with the message you got... then the 4th it did not replied imediatly.. so I click twice again and got the backend did not replied...

by way I think the message is not really true ? [[:)]] there are no updates so why telling it is downloading one ? [[:)]]

edit1: that was my post [7.460] QUESTION: new update when clicking on check for update package now..
