[7.450][BUG][NOTABUG] created user cannot be authenticated

I created a user named "test" and confirmed this BUG.

I can still log in with accounts created prior to the upgrade to 7.450.

I cannot confirm this bug. Can you please provide the steps to reproduce this issue?

My description above is adquate, nitehawk, to reproduce this anomaly.

In fact, I've uncovered a more pernicious little beastie in [Create new user] and will open another thread.

i can confirm this bug with complex passwords and create user from Active Directory. This will not work correctly, but not only in this very, since the AD Integration was build in this feature don't work 100%. Only low compelx passwords work correctly

I just ried this again.  The reason I was blocked was because I had allowed only specific users to access the User Portal.  When I checked 'Any' instead, all worked as it should have.

I used an 8-character password with mixed upper- and lower-case letters, one digit and one of the shifted characters on the number keys.  That's a strong (complex?) password.
