[7.450][BUG][NOTABUG] static bind

Hi Friends !

while using static bind/ip host name doesnt show in lease table ,that how it operate or ...

using dynamic ip it show hostname

In which menu is the 'static bind/ip' you are dicussing?

If you are talking about DHCP, then, for as long as I know, the lease table only shows the host name for IPs leased dynamically from an Astaro DHCP server.

Yes Sir, i am talking about DHCP server ,if u r using dhcp server with bind it doesnt show hostname if u keep client pc unbind it shows hostname

Yes Sir, i am talking about DHCP server ,if u r using dhcp server with bind it doesnt show hostname if u keep client pc unbind it shows hostname

Astaro uses ISC DHCP which is a standard opensource dhcp server that behaves this way, it doesn't write mac mapped static entries in the lease file.

i found more thing its now showing different time and different ip as it has not update mac bind ip (192.168.2.200) and this both times are same (which is wrong)
