[7.450][BUG][NOTABUG] Internal NTP Server won't work

Hi there,

I got an problem with the internal NTP Server. I'm able to it up, but when I try to sync my Windows XP PC with it, I get the error "Stratum of peer smaller than Stratum of Host" - and it does not sync because of that.

On earlier version of ASG, it worked.

Are you running ntp serivce (time server) on your winxp machine by any chance? It shouldn't be complaining abt this otherwise.

I tested ntp client sync against 2 of my beta machine and they sync fine from both window and linux client.

no I'm not running and any other timeserver - not in the network, not on my pc.

A quick google indicates that this is an error related to time zone settings. Is your XP correctly patched and on the same time zone settings as the Astaro?
