[7.450][BUG][ACK] Unstable webbrowsing.

Haven't found out what, but since the new install webbrowsing is VERY unstable. Very often the webpages I try to browse times out and doesn't show. Same hardware as with 7.402 but that problem never occured with 7.402. Identical config on both beta and 7.402.

EDIT : Found out that computer 1 can open while computer 2 is unable to open the same website at the same time. The next second things have changed and computer 2 and 3 can open while computer 1 doesn't.
CPU Load : 3-15%
RAM : 15%
SWAP: 0%
LOG : 1%
DATA: 3%

Have tried disable all functions except firewall, but still same respons.

    I noticed something similar. Escpecially when opening the browser for the first time. It would fail to connect..Once I hit refresh ..it would connect..This was with transparent proxy.

    I have disabled all functions except packetfilter, but still the same thing happens. I have setup a ping for one spesific wan adress to check stability, the ping works fine for a while then suddenly at has some timeouts and after pinging the night it has totalt blocked ALL pinging to the wan side (from that spesific computer on the inside). When I started firefox this morning it tokk about 5 seconds before the page started to load and then the ping suddenly started again... It seems like the computer looses internet access somehow...

    Have been testing some more. 
    1. With 7.402 the problem is gone (same hardware and configuration)
    2. With an 3com router the problem also is gone.

    The browsing problem seems to be on all other computers except my 2003 server. All other computers are on wireless lans.

    I've found out when I use HTTP proxy with standard mode instead of no proxy the webbrowsing problem seems to be gone. I'll do some more testing and let you know...

    When in Transparent mode, what do you see in the Live Log?

    I havn't used transparent mode. I just read in the forum that many people had problem with transparent mode (i didn't use proxy) and just tried activating proxy with standard mode. I'll use transparent mode for a while and give you feedback.

    Full transparent mode = No access to any website. Browser just says connecting and nothing in proxy log.

    Just transparent mode "Not full" = No flash files are shown. URL 404 error or just an empty box where the flash should have been. This is copied from the log file.

    EDIT: After a while 1-2 miuntes the astaro error page opened in my browser saying that he cannot connect to http://www.startsiden.no "connecting to server timed out"

    Just curious, did you reboot after making changes from "no proxy" -> "enable proxy" ...

    my personal experience with beta seems indicate that mode switching isn't so transparent at the moment.

    Full-transparent is for a situation where the devices on the internal network have public IPs, so it's comforting that didn't work! [;)]

    Thanks for going back and testing; that shows that you've iprobably dentified the same bug seen by others.

    Yes, but I did not reboot when i changed between the proxy modes.
