What if you turn those new rules off and reboot - does it work then?

I have 2 beta boxes and I didn't have such problem, but I am using new client and I rebooted after restoring old config.

Have you already tried setting up the vpn from scratch? And as dmzalarm said, tried with the new client?

Maybe there is an inconsistency between the old & the new vpn client (1.3 vs 1.4)?

after installing Beta and restoring the backup from 7.402 the autopaketfilter for the ssl vpn isn't working. i had to add rules in the paktefilter to allow traffic.

i'm using the old client, but i don't think this does matter...

ssl-vpn (network) -> Internal Network -> any allow

i restarted the system more than once but had no time to test ist with the new client...

I tied it but it doesn t work
ping to the astaaro works
ping to a system behind doesn t work

any other ideas?

VPN on a 7.3 system works fine

I have the same Problem after three new installs on ASG App.

is ping forwarding enabled?

what do you get in the paketfilter log? any dropped packets? maybe you can append a screenshot?

Can you post the output of 
$ iptables -vnL AUTO_FORWARD
when the VPN connection is established and automatic pf rules 
are enabled.

If it does'nt show a line like:
0     0 CONFIRMED  all  --  tun0   *       10.242.2.0/24        1.0.0.0/24          CONFIRMED

could you please do a
$ tail -f  /tmp/mdwdebug.log  /tmp/confd-debug.log
establish a vpn connection and
disable and enable "Automatic packet filter rules"? Thanks.
