[BUG] in 7.450
I have loaded 2 identical servers with fresh ISO's of 7.450 and 7.402. Installed home basic license on both. Same config file restored to both.
On the 7.450 box, main dashboard it says Intrusion Prevention is active with 3931 of 5599 patterns.
On the 7.402 box, main dashboard it says Intrusion Prevention is active with 4562 of 7059 patterns.
Both have Pattern version 9747 right now on them.
It had the same problem yesterday with a different Pattern version on both boxes also.
I tried rebooting both boxes and both sets of numbers stayed the same.
I restored the backup from 7.402 onto the 7.450 box again just to double verify. Same result.
Just for fun, I logged into a customers Astaro 220 gateway appliance that's running 7.402. It shows the SAME 4562 of 7059 patterns for intrusion detection that my x86 box (non-appliance) shows. The customers Astaro 220 appliance also has web surf and other features enabled so its doing lots of rules etc. So One assumes that those rules does NOT affect the # of active patterns in use by Intrusion Detection.
