[7.450][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Sockd continually restarting

is there still a problem with socks in version 7.470 I cannot reproduce any error message

Other than the error that I mentioned in the logs, I couldn't get my socks to die on its own maybe Ian can do some more testing. He said he had his coffee/Jack ready for this new beta this coming weekend[;)]

Hi Folks,
one thing that hasn't surfaced so far is sockd failures. The ASG has been up from a cold start for just over 2 hours and no messages. I haven't received any cron failures either.

Hi Folks,
well I was able to restart the sockd e-mails. I was investigating a question Andreas asked in another thread whether I was still having the issue. I restored a backup from early this morning and now about once an hour I receive a message sockd not running restarted.

I rebooted (Shutdown from Webmin) my 7.470 system tonight... Powered it back up, and received 2 "[INFO-120] Sockd not running - restarted" messages so far. They were 5 mins apart, first had the same timestamp as the "system was restarted" message.
