[7.450][BUG][NOTABUG] mail manager timeout even if actively used

I already reported that but still REALLY annoying...

If you connect to asg, then work only on mail manager, after a while even if u still activelly use the  mail manager your connection will be dropped... which is annoying when you try to track things...

please make the mail manager handle the whole astaro timeout correctly...

    I can confirm this one, although it's not really a bug. 

    The point is that the Mail Manager window is created by the WebAdmin main window and so it's registered there. If the WebAdmin reaches it's timeout, all windows that have been opened will be closed.

    You can avoid this behaviour by opening the Mail Manager, switching to WebAdmin and choosing the Dashboard as the current view.

    Oh you mean having the dashboard page, will make things never timeout ?? this is a security bug to me then !!!!!  because your session will never expire !!!

    Well, this was also discussed in more than one previous beta [;)]

    of course we could enforce to update the webadmin timeout by the mail manager window, but this would lead to a security issue:

    if you forget to close the mail manager for some reason, your webadmin will keep open too and that's probably a situation you want to avoid. therefore we decided to shutdown all opened windows on webadmin's timeout.

    @BuBU actually this is not a security issue, but a request by several customers. In fact: in the very beginning of V7, there was a timeout on the dashboard page.
