[7.450][BUG][ANSWERED] Ongoing issue: Astaro allows generation of incorrect certs

In VPN 'Certificate Management', it is possible to generate a cert that will fail for SSL connections. In fact, ALL fields must be completed or the connection will fail. The Edit should not allow any field to be empty or too long.

You mean SSL VPN for road warriors or for SSL site-to-site VPN? I assume you mean the latter because these for road warriors are auto-generated.

Please describe this more detailed.

Certs can be created in either spot. In fact, I was recreating the Local X509 Cert. I don't think this is a feature request. It's either inadequate documentation or inadequate design.

I'm talking about the underlying cert created for the SSL and IPsec VPNs.

The issue persists in V7.460. Interestingly enough, the cert creation process warns you to fill in the email field, just not the others.
