BUG: Under the following circumstances, the Interface dropdown list is reset to: ":: Please select ::" and the the NICs disappear from the list leaving "Please Select" as the only option.
Step to reproduce the bug:
1) After the initial setup, use the Wizard until you get to the "Internet uplink WAN Settings"
2)Select an interface in the list [I used: eth0]
3)Select ANY Internet Uplink type [I used: "Cable modem"]
4)Press Next
5)Press Back
6)Change your Internet uplink to either "DSL - PPP over ATM/PPTP..." OR "Standard Ethernet Inferface..." WITHOUT completing the all the required field. [I used: "Standard Ethernet" AND left all field blank]
7) Press Next
8) Error "One of the values you entered is syntactically or logically incorrect." Message Pop-up (This is Normal)
9) BUG: Dropdown list is reset, the interface disappear from the list.
It result in not being able to press Next since the interface list become empty.
Temporary Workaround: is to go back, and then press next (to reset the interfaces dropdown list).
Additional Info:
Bug found with ASG 7.450 Beta, running on VMware 6.5.2 and Firefox 3.0.10
The bug is not critical but is confusing when setting up the device for the first time.
Side note: I am a new home-user, hoping for a home power-user license.
