None of the settings were changed on the firewall. Only the browser on the client side had proxy enabled and disabled for the test.
I have http proxy on with caching enabled, av scan on, content filtering on. The proxy is running in standard mode. I also have the website speakeasy.net in skip av tests under http/s-->exceptions. When running a speedtest on a 10mb dsl connection, I am getting a huge difference if i use proxy server in my browser vs if I don't use it. Usually its within a few kbits with earlier astaro versions.
Here are the results... First with no proxy and then with proxy enabled performed within a few seconds of each other.
All tests performed on vista sp2 IE 8.0.6001
