[7.450][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Input freeze during Initial web setup with IE8

During inital web setup,when I was entering my admin information, the screen kept freezing for a few seconds like it was locked up. It would unfeeze, It would and accept the information then freeze again on the next fieild. This happeded a lot on the intial web set up screen. I was able to enter all the information but it diid freeze up a lot.

Had the same - but I think IE8 causes the issue.
Is the compatibility mode used (ON) ?

No compatability mode was not on; but I would hope 7.5 would not need to use it.

Firefox 3 seems to be the best browser for Astaro, especially for the betas.

I believe "compatibility mode" is still necessary, at least for now, when administering ASG V7... I have the same issues with IE8 on Vista SP2.

do you mean the welcome screen when you first launch IE8 or the asstaro admin page?

I have had nothing but problems with the admin page...

King, I had a problem after logoff. I had not rebooted after I loaded 7.450 and restored my 7.402 config from a USB key. Rebooting the Astaro resolved that issue, so, although it was a bug, it never repeated after the reboot.
