[7.450][QUESTION][OPEN] How to configure Real-Time Bandwidth Monitor?

so just finished installing and restoring my configuration from 7.401.

in thte release notes it said.

*New Interface utilization bars on Dashboard (setup scale via QOS)
*Click for detailed overview as to "whats happening in my network right now"

I dont see this on my dashboard , is it because i did a restore ? i dont use QOS, do i need to use QOS to see it ?

I seem to have bars on the in and out rates of my internal card, but not the external one.
And if you click on the number under in or out on the interface it does bring up more detailed
information/flow monitor, even on my external one.
However its not clearly marked, "Click here for more detailed information"...

Goto Network->Interfaces
Click edit for each interface and input a Max Bandwidth amount and then apply.
My internal nic was auto set to 100Mbs, but you may need to set yours.
I set my external/internet nic to 3Mbs which is about the max I get.

See if this works for you

oh ok i can see it now. hmm but it just adds a bar over the information that was already there , but it doesnt show me real time ( or maybe i just dont understand what it means by realtime). I guess i was hoping for too much. I was hoping for a breakdown by either IP ( where the traffic is going on the inside) or by service.

Click on the bar; you should get a pop-up.

I already reported that I don't get a pop-up.
