[7.450][BUG][FIXED] Flow monitor doesn't show any connections

i have the same problem here. Can confirm this on two boxes. I can the traffic in the dashboard view but the flow monitor shows no connections.

what info's do you need?

This issue has not changed in 7.460.

it's the same here with 7.460 on two different systems.

after the first installation the flow monitor worked one or two times but since than it shows no data.

what can we do to debug this issue? what configuration info do you need?

I saw this neither in 7.450 nor now in 7.460.

@quasar: Yes it worked for one or two minutes directly after installation. But since then it doesn't show anything.

Yes, it's the same here. Worked for some minutes but since then no data available.

It's on both of my beta ASGs:
ASG220v1 512MB RAM
ASG110 1024MB RAM

I use Firefox for viewing.

I also have an ASG320 here, i will try to switch it this afternoon. Maybe it works than, the unit has a fresh install with 7.460 and i will restore the actual backup.

I will report if i found something!

i just issued a

conntrack -L

on the cli there the connections are shown. after dowing this flow monitor via webinterface ist working again.

@monarch: can you confirm this?

3c279, Was that a German "ist" and not an English "isn't" above?  So you found that running conntrack at the cli restarted the flow monitor?

I still have no such problem, and am now on my other PC.

V7.460 loaded from ISO into ASG220v1.  Restored from 7.403.  Win XP SP3.  IE7.0.5730.13

After rebooting (via webmin) 30 minutes ago, my flow monitors are not longer working... window opens but no traffic appears on any interfaces, despite the dashboard showing 25-50KB of traffic, and Vuze showing similar.

It was working the other day, after installing the 7.460 ISO and restoring my 7.402 config.

Hi Barry,
try this.
In security -> advanced -> start the flow control
go to the dashboard -> doubleclick on one of the interfaces
nothing happens
then close the window with the all interface traffic
in the dashboard doubleclick on a specific interface.

That is how I got mine to work this morning, otherwise like you no data shows even though the page refreshes.

Let me rephrase that - it did work until I wrote this post.
Left it running for 10 minutes and traffic shows up. I have audio streaming running continuously as well as web surfing.

OK... that works (Network Security - Packet Filter - Advanced - "Start the traffic monitor")

Hi Barry,
an update. Mine like a number of other people's doesn't start if you logout of webadmin.

Clear cache in FF, start the process in network security -> advanced. Window pops open no data. Close the window then go to Dashboard and doubleclick on an interface and data appears.
