PPTP/SSL Works great

Just wanted to report that PPTP and SSL VPN were working great. This is huge due to the simplicity of setup for admins and users and out of the "beta" box, it works just fine for us.

I want to second this emotion and add that L2TP is working well for me too.  I should note that I use Mac OS X Leopard as my client machine.

     Will the SSL client function without requiring administrator rights on the user's workstation?

You can allow standard users to run it, HOWEVER, you may have to set the shortcut to "run as" administrator in order to set the routes properly on the VPN if you are running Vista. On XP, it should be fine. (This is when you are using OpenVPN client. You will also want to run the RC14 version on Vista with OpenVPN client.
